Adventure Begins At Your Library!

 Welcome to Summer Reading 2024!

This year's theme is "Adventure Begins at Your Library"! Summer reading will run from June 3rd to July 12th this year.

You can see all scheduled programs and activities on our website calendar or you can visit any Garnet A. Wilson Public library to pick up a copy of their event calendar and sign up to join the fun! 

Summer reading will feature crafts for all ages and open to everyone. Please pay special attention to activities requiring registration. They will be limited and first come, first served.

Below the image are the details for the summer reading challenge: Guidelines for reading participation are as follows: Children aged 1 to 7- read 20 age-appropriate books Tweens aged 8 to 12- read 4 age-appropriate books Teens aged 13 to 17- read 4 YA/adult fiction or non-fiction books Adults aged 18+- read 4 adult/YA fiction or non-fiction books Books must be read between Monday, June 3 and Saturday July 12, 2024. Upon completion, successful readers will receive a prize! We look forward to seeing you this summer and making more library memories!
